For smoke-free home, a person 18 years of age or older must have reported that no one is allowed to smoke anywhere inside of his/her home.
The smoke-free home questions were asked in every cycle of TUS/CPS.
Available estimates are for the time periods 2006-2007, 2010-2011, 2014-2015, and 2018-2019 shown on maps and in data tables by county and health service area (HSA). Click on the map to view data values and confidence intervals for individual regions.
For the 2018-2019 data released in October 2023, an ID assignment error in the source data affected the final estimated percentages and Confidence Intervals for Counties and HSAs. This issue was corrected as of March 2025.
